Before You Submit: What We List
PsychedelicRetreats.directory focuses on a specific, well-defined scope. Reviewing these criteria before submitting saves you time.
We primarily list
- US state-licensed psilocybin retreats (currently Oregon and Colorado, with New Mexico expected by end of 2026)
- Licensed ketamine clinics operating anywhere in the US
- A small number of independently verified international centers, where we can confirm regulatory standing, safety protocols, and English-language service
We generally do not list
- Retreats without a clear, verifiable legal framework in their operating country
- Non-English-language services — our audience is English-speaking and primarily US-based
- Ayahuasca retreats in regions with documented safety concerns (see our guide on ayahuasca risks for context)
- Centers we're unable to independently verify through public records or direct confirmation
Every listing on our directory is reviewed individually. Meeting these general criteria doesn't guarantee approval, and centers outside these criteria aren't necessarily unsafe or illegitimate — our scope is simply narrower than the full range of retreats that exist worldwide.
If your center doesn't fit our current scope, we're still glad you're doing this work. Our scope may expand over time as we grow.
